Great film. Loved Tarantino's version of the 60s and I was captivated throughout.

The Here After 2015
Gritty Scandinavian film. Really enjoyed this. Life isn't the happily ever after often portrayed in major blockbusters, and what I love about foreign cinema is the realness it brings. This is the story of how a small town don't forget past misdemeanours.

The Way Way Back 2013
I'm generally onto a winner with coming of age films, with them being my favourite type of genre. This didn't fail to disappoint. Steve Carell was excellent as the twat of a father in law, a contrast to the usual character he portrays. This took my back to the summer holiday's whilst I was at school - they seemed to last forever and you came back feeling older and with a new sense of purpose. A road trip in the States is still one of my ambitions in life - this film didn't help harness this notion!

Away We Go 2009
Enjoyable road movie about a couple trying to find themselves and a place they feel is home. The main protagonists were endearing in moments but seemed to live in a bubble of their own heads, never really engaging with life or anything around them. Some funny moments. On the whole it was an enjoyable Saturday night movie with my other half.
