Pure nightmarish Gothic with a very dark hypnotic charm where you're on the edge of your seat when Thomas makes his way to Orlocks castle & especially when he 1st meets him!!I am so glad I got to experience this in the theater..Also glad Eggers didn't have the love story bullshit like Coppola..Orlock is pure evil & pure appetite as it should be..He is the absolute best Director for this amazing film

The 1st things you notice in a Mario Bava film is his use of color,the way everything is lit,set design,the way each shot is masterfully framed,how beautifully disturbing his haunting atmosphere is that lures you in and it doesn't take you long to realize you are watching moving pictures with Immaculate technique & handcrafted precision!!
