There goes the neighborhood comedy-crime film bolstered by the performances of two great leads. As you would expect Ernest Borgnine and Carroll O'Connor have a lot of chemistry together which produces a good amount of laughs. Seeing Borgnine play a hairdresser of all things was definitely out of character but he made it work. O'Connor seemed right at home as a cabby who reluctantly agrees to join Borgnine's Auxiliary police force. For support we get an over the top performance…

Rat Fink 1965
No name actor Schuyler Hayden stars as a young sociopath who is willing to do anything to achieve fame as a rock star, including attempting to murder the current teen idol in order to take his place. He soon finds out that fame brings its own set of problems and isn't going to change his past or the evil monster that he is.
Its a shame Hayden only made one other film before passing away in a plane crash in…

Kenny & Company 1976
Great coming of age movie with a ton of of laughs and some very heartfelt moments. I think Don Coscarelli did a wonderful job of showing the trials and tribulations of growing up. We see Kenny deal with his first love, a bully, loss, etcetera. The two main kids are great here. There performances seemed very natural and not fake. Just how you would expect kids to act in their daily lives.
I think this one may have been lost…

Mumsy, Nanny, Sonny & Girly 1970
Genuinely creepy British thriller about a teenage brother and sister who lure unsuspecting men (new friends) to their mothers house for games (psychological torture). The way the mother and nanny treat the obvious teenagers like small children is sure to get under your skin. You definitely get a big element of The Most Dangerous Game with the whole capture and hunt aspect of the film.
Everyone does a great job in their roles here, especially the actress that played the Girly character. The "killer kids" genre is one that I've always enjoyed and this was one a very solid entry.
