A movie that is fun and a letter to the stunt community. While the plot is a bit cartoony at times and the side characters are basic. The performance of Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling make this movie. Gosling and Blunt continues to show off their comedic chops while at times showing off when the script allows a deeper side to a relatively simple story. Their character dynamic and acting brings the film to another level from a fun 3 1/2 stars to four

In an era where pointless sequels happen all the time this is one that breaks that rule. This sequels builds on everything the original set up and challenges it in interesting ways. It accomplishes the same thing the first movie did in a new interesting way. A movie that’s a kid movie that tackles the relatable concept of growing up and the constant new challenges it represents while having mature undertones at times.
