The Prodigy 2019
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I loved the artistic direction of this movie.
Imo a particularly striking artistic element is the blood pattern on the baby and the deceased at the film’s outset. This visual motif effectively symbolizes the intertwining of two lives, setting a foreboding tone for the film.A gripping aspect was the scenarios where the psychopath manipulates the family, adding layers of psychological horror. This aspect is both intriguing and disturbing, as it challenges perceptions of trust, leading to a suspenseful experience.
Rip Piper fly high my queen.

(500) Days of Summer 2009
Summer in 500 Days of Summer is frustrating. She keeps Tom close, blurring boundaries and sending mixed signals. Her emotional distance and pull-push behavior make her feel selfish at times, like she’s enjoying Tom’s affection without truly investing in him. It’s easy to feel annoyed with her, especially if you’ve ever been drawn to someone who won’t fully let you in. STAY away from that avoidant person , dear lord please !!

Land of Mine 2015
I thought Land of Mine was powerful— the acting pulled me in, making me feel like I truly knew each character and felt their pain. The artistic direction and shots were incredible, adding depth to the story. I felt for those young German boys, cleaning up the mess left by their fathers, and the sergeant brought so much heart to the role; he genuinely deserved an award for that performance. The dog scene was intense, but I think it was necessary to show the depth of pain and anger the Danish people had towards the Germans after their losses. The ending wrapped it all up well.
