Hmm… there is something to be enjoyed about this Searchers-esque film despite its borderline racist depiction of Indiginous people (borderline because the filmmaker purposefully illustrates that the tribe of cave dwelling cannibals ARE NOT indigenous… but they also are…so yeah…).
You can tell all the budget was spent above the line. Amazing cast - Kurt Russell PEAK mustache, but lazy almost nonexistent production design - zero background players (I guess no one besides the main cast lives in this western town?)…
