  “If it’s a girl, we’ll name her Sunny Hope, if it’s a boy, we’ll name him Francis”

  This movie tries really hard to not put itself inside of a box. The best way to put it is it’s Coppola’s self portrait movie, similar to that of Scorsese’s self-reflection of aging and legacy in “The Irishman” or Miyazaki’s portrayal of an intimate rivalry and friendship in “The Boy and the Heron”. 

  However, unlike those two movies which are on different scales…
