This is one of those movies that seems to lose a lot of the impact if you don’t see it in theaters. And to me that translates to it relying on visuals and scope and sacrificing story and character. I prefer the latter so this movie fell a little flat for me. Also, did we really NEED another war movie about how war is bad and scary and uncertain but men are brave anyway?
