  Dude, Where's My Car? 2000

  Heres the thing, its hard to argue with funny. This is a dumb fucking movie, but its dumbness is executed so fucking well. Obviously a lot of it is dated (and honestly kind of offensive), but that stuff rarely came off as intentionally mean-spirited to me. Like the introduction of the trans character is obviously terrible, but also that character kinda slays? And like the dudes rock makeout in the car? Like Id be interested in hearing what trans/queer critics think of this one. I dunno, I think its an interesting movie. And I do think almost all of the non-dated humor still works really well.

  Its fun. A bit sloppy. Jack Quaid and Amber Midthunder are great, they really sell it. If they made a sequel it would probably be better. I liked it.

  It's nice when a film from childhood holds up. It actually works a bit better now because I get all the Hollywood jokes.
