The film covers the atrocities committed to the Osage Native Americans to extract wealth. While this is a very meaningful story to tell, the the way it is told is drawn out in a less interesting wolf of wallstreet format from the perspective of the oppressors. Could have been an amazing documentary or historical mystery but instead was forced into a crime drama.
