Listening to Chef speak reminds me of the poeticism of Grant Achatz. Ralph Fiennes was a perfect casting decision. I wanted so badly for this to be as good as the first one, but was let down. The story seemed so forced and unnecessary, while also being unoriginal. It literally came from nowhere. I think a character as strong as Art becomes less interesting when you throw unwarranted backstory in there. And not even backstory about HIM. That being said, Art is fun and entertaining and a joy to watch his shenanigans. But what the hell was that ending?? I will say that the practical effects were just as good as the original, which ended up saving the movie(sorta).
