  We’re living through a moment defined by the rank spinelessness of our public figures, so it’s almost impossible to imagine someone risking everything to stand up to the draft board the way Ali did. A king, indeed. And RIP George Foreman, a lean, mean legend in his own right.

  Smith basically fails at an impossible task but it’s not like Mann exactly set him up for success. It also seems like this got hammered in the editing process but who can say. All that aside, he’s still the greatest.
