I love movies because of their ability to intertwine visuals and sound for emotional impact and storytelling. The Outrun is a perfect example of that for me

An excellent set up, intense sound design, beautiful art direction, practical effects and sets. Some great little ideas and details that fleshed out what we know and love. However, it is ultimately overshadowed by opting to copy paste scenes from previous movies in a jarring mess instead of embracing what was truly Alien about it.
