  interesting to see a media representation of vietnam as much as this is, because my grandfather was within that war, no mention of aussies in this one though. still nonetheless a good film in representation of the spoils of warfare

  Did i come into this franchise without watching the first 2 films? yeah. did i know what to expect coming into it? yeah. still though, plot armour and cheaply constructed sets are the star of this film. hooray for practical effects but basic logic and scriptwriting are not 2 things that go hand in hand with this one. 4 walkouts were fun to watch though, someone told their mum it was a comedy and she left after 20 mins and that was the highlight of this viewing

  A Quiet Place: Day One 2024

  this film was enjoyable, for sure but another question to pose is, “was it really necessary for the franchise?”. In “a quiet place: Part 2” we’re provided with a flashback of the first day of invasion via the original family in the first two, this film essentially builds that whole sequence into a full length feature. 

  this film felt similar to “the last of us” games or the film “War of the Worlds” with the occasional heartwarming moments between lead characters…
