Watched this with Your Favorite Bad Movie Podcast discord, I give it 5 stars for the group watch experience. The actual movie is more interesting as an artifact of the 70s and disability exploitation cinema than actually enjoyable to watch. Ted Vollrath was really good as the cold blooded titular enforcer, though

Love Hurts 2025
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The best thing I can say about this is that Ke Huy Quan is incredibly charming and I would watch him in anything. Sean Astin showing up was sweet. Marshawn Lynch: a born star. On the other hand, even at 83 minutes this dragged. On the other, other hand, you get to see a Property Brother shot straight through the dome, so????

The Red Shoes 1948
I probably can't say anything that hasn't been said better by a lot of people before but this is quite possibly one of the greatest movies ever made. The Red Shoes ballet sequence is jaw-dropping in its mastery. Anton Walbrook gives an absolute rager of a performance. Would give it a hundred stars if I could.

Black Narcissus 1947
Absolutely luminous specimen of Technicolor and beautiful cinematography. A bit of a gear shift movie as the question of whether Sister Clodagh can handle running a convent gives way to the drama of Sister Ruth's madness. Some uncomfortable brownface I would be remiss not to mention. Overall, having gone in with no expectations, I was dazzled. They truly do not make them like this anymore.
