An extremely funny movie about two office cops trying to take down a criminal enterprise. There are tons of quotable moments in this movie and a ton of very funny jokes and bits. This film is just ridiculous in the best way and it’s one of my favorite comedies. Every performer gives just the perfect performance of their characters and it all blends together into a perfect cast. A lot of talk about Will Ferrell’s best comedy, mine might be this.

Aguirre, the Wrath of God 1972
I really struggled to pick between 3.5 and 4 on this one. I ultimately went with 3.5, but this could be changed at any time. I liked a lot about this movie, however, the middle section was a little too slow for my liking. This story follows a group of conquistadors searching for the mythical city of El Dorado. This story is not one that is overly complex, but offers a glimpse into the dynamics of human nature.

Gone Baby Gone 2007
This movie took a long time for me to really get in to. I found the acting in the first half of the film to be pretty bad overall and the whole thing felt preachy and tropey. Once the mystery begins to unfold, then things becoming a lot more interesting.

This film is lacking in plot/story but makes up for that by having some bangers throughout. I would say that this film fails as a movie but succeeds as a musical. Like seriously what happens in this movie??? The first hour and a half there is literally no plot it’s just like “hey look I’m a cowboy (or lass) in Oklahoma!”
