Good movie. Has a few aspects to it that I don’t like such as certain casting choices and massive plot holes, but other than that, it’s highly entertaining and Cruise is just nuts in this film. Similar to Heat in certain ways with the long dialogue scenes at times but it makes up for it with the solid action sequences.

Phantom Thread 2017
I absolutely loved this film. I was unsure going in if I was going to be interested in a story about a dressmaker in 1950s London, but after 15 minutes I was completely dialed in. Everything about this movie is great; the costumes, the score, the acting, the writing, the graininess of the cinematography… it’s perfect.
Such an interesting character study between both Reynolds and Alma. I could keep watching for hours how their dynamic relationship unfolds. Major congrats to Paul Thomas Anderson for providing such an interesting and well made movie.
