  ..... the world is saved... by statutory rape..... and we just... we just move on from it.. like why was this detail necessary? she didn't have to be 16 she just had to be a virgin... there's also weird race implications, surprise trans/homophobia that make this otherwise fun noir...not fun.

  This was cute but, for me, mostly unsuccessful in what it was trying to achieve. If Charlyne was playing a character instead of themselves, I would've been able to suspend disbelief and engage with the story the way it wanted me to but instead I just watched Charlyene Yi be cute and funny....which isn't a bad thing...but just not what I expected. GIVE CHARLYNE MORE LEAD ROLES.
