The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King 2003
Could easily be my favorite movie ever and I don’t think that’s surprising. The perfect ending to a perfect trilogy. Could watch it 20 times and not get sick of it.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers 2002
When I first watched this trilogy, I couldn’t help but place this movie behind the other two pretty quickly. But now, after a second and third watch, this movie surpasses The Fellowship of the Ring for me. The way it tells two different stories between Frodo and Sam and Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli and Gandalf seems so effortless. Nothing is forced and everything flows so well. Also, the Battle of Helm’s Deep could be my favorite action sequence in the whole trilogy.
