The film was great but the really unsettling horror only set in when i started watching and reading about all the theories behind the characters and all. Well done film and a good classic i understand why King didn't like it but Kubrick made an incredibly adaptation of the classic novel in it's own right.

Americans might like this movie and think it cynicism is funny but for me none of the jokes really worked. I guess it's an Adam McKay thing for me. None of his movies i watched so far i enjoyed so yeah I guess i'll just stay away from his work from now on.
