Visually stimulating, must’ve been a feat and a half to pull off these compositions in jungle. Idea was Lord of the Flys with machine guns. Trailer was brilliant, really captivating. But denoted a more concrete plot. In reality it was a bit like Sicario in its ambiguity. Unknown enemy, unknown hostage situation, not much exposition.
