A cringeworthy and painful slog. An insult to car enthusiasts and Brits.
Ken Miles portrayed as a goofy brummie clown, Christian Bale goes down in my estimations, especially as a Brit himself. Proof that Americans have no idea about English people. This film should’ve been shorter, needlessly drawn out dialogue that doesn’t add anything to the film and is nothing more than waffle and filler. That boring old formulaic trope of the wife and kid being a thorn in the main characters side is lazily brought in to add ‘drama’. Matt Damon’s performance is one of the highlights in this woeful excuse for a film.
