WILLEM DAFOE IS THE RAT??? That credit actually blew my mind as an alcoholic rat myself
This movie is so so so cute and beautiful. The type of movie you finish and feel like it’s all gonna be okay. Mind boggling stop motion animation, what’s not to love about this thing. Wish I watched it sooner.
Robert Pattinson with a funny voice you knew it was gonna hit. Quite funny, very poignant reminder of the times, tons of fun, and surprisingly romantic? Wasn’t expecting such a tender and genuine love story. Lived up to my expectations and then some, shout out Mark Ruffalo’s chompers.
It’s literally Inglorious Bastards if it was British, sexier, a little under seasoned, and Hugo Stiglitz was a Nazi. At one point Winston Churchill walks in puffing a cigar and says “what are you some kind of Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare?” Like you know what fuck it, sure.
This movie romanticizes a lot of bad shit and reeks of the early 2000s. At movies end I felt it was a 5/10 and then remembered all the weird shit I just watched and decided I didn’t like it. But that dislike is still a feeling which beats Captain America since that left me feeling nothing at all so I rate this half a star higher.
