  The Monkey 2025

  YES.

  Love how Perkins totally has it in him to make a horror comedy, but still finds ways to play to his strengths: nightmare-logic imagery, and authentic expressions of grief without being heavy-handed. Death really is that bewildering and often nonsensical. It really, truly, is what it is.

  Not the biggest fan of the extra slick James Wan production,but it does present a nice contrast against the grainy Longlegs.

  Silent Hill: Revelation 3D 2012

  Would a high school theater production of Silent Hill be better than this? I don't know, but at least Heather Mason's actor might actually be informed by real experience as a teenager and not be such a flat trope the whole time.

  Should have been career-ending for Harrington, Moss, Bean, et al

  Can I be real with yall for a second? Who even cares, like 5 people ever read my letterboxd.
