Would rather not spend almost two hours meandering towards a climax that never comes! Leans SO hard on X for tension instead of doing ANY heavy lifting itself and also ends up feeling completely needless because we can infer so much from X’s parallel between Maxine and Pearl so nothing we learn is really all that important or new or interesting!
