Going through MCU movies, this movie really stands out, doesn't it? Guardians of the Galaxy might be the best thing we got out of the MCU. Like, I mean the movies and the characters. James Gunn is pretty good.
This one is a surreal watch. It certainly kept my attention just for how bizarre it is. The character designs feel like they come from different movies.
There's gotta be some way to make a Thumbelina / thumbs down pun, but I can't think of one.
I've actually been wanting to rewatch this one for a long time, after reading some positive articles about it. And yeah, I like it quite a bit! It's not perfect, not all of the action scenes are compelling. But it does a great job selling Cap as a character, and it just overall works for me.
