Deer Camp ‘86 2022
I picked this movie at the theater knowing nothing about it but the name and went in with low expectations. It exceeded them, but it's still fairly mediocre. There are some fun moments, some decently written characters, the acting is pretty solid, the gore is well done and I liked the idea behind the killer. It falls short in a few places, but the short runtime keeps it from overstaying its welcome. Definitely don't regret seeing it.

Deadpool & Wolverine is a very weird beast. Let me preface this: I was never going to love this movie. I don't really like Deadpool as a character or Ryan Reynolds' comedy in general, so this movie isn't really for me. That said, I really love the MCU and I was curious to see how they would integrate Deadpool into the universe. Ultimately I think they do a fairly decent job, but they do it by not really committing to it…
