Trap 2024
M. Night makes movies based off public misconceptions of mental illness and trauma. The man has potential when he does research, but it doesnt feel like he puts forth effort into the details anymore. I wanted to like this, especially because he can come up with some pretty great concepts but the dude just cant stop missing the mark.

Poker Face 2022
A surprisingly enjoyable movie. Nothong huge or perfect or out of the ordinary, but it was a pretty picture. Some things are nice, and its okay for them to be just nice, and thats exactly what this movie was.
FYI - they only play poker for like 5 minutes tops, really should have had more time with the characters at the table, especially with a title like Poker Face. Still liked the movie tho, cant lie about that

Good flick, it really encaptured the vibe of the classical tragedy. I loved how they leaned into the Slavic parts and the set design and film locations were chosen phenomenally.
Certain camera shots during the movie just made it downright funny and the fact that the ultimate solution to their predicament was "Ya gotta take one for the team homie and fuck this old man" is kind of hilarious, but the scenes themselves were done very grotesquely.
