  From a technical perspective this isn’t close to the best skate “film” I’ve seen even this year. But I think that’s what I like about it. It’s not technical. GODSPEED felt the most “free” of any skate video I’ve seen in years, and that’s a very good thing.

  It’s either upsettingly misguided or purposefully evil. Saltburn is a deeply vapid movie made for 2010s tumblr culture whose embarrassingly try-hard transgressive moments aren’t nearly as gross as what the core thesis of the movie turns out to be. A thesis which posits that the middle class are fiends who want to subsume the rich out of envy, rather than the real desire to tear down the system, upheld by the rich, which keeps those below them locked in suffering for perpetuity.
