  Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves 2023

  This is just a really well-made movie

  Everything from the story, performances, pacing, character work, action... everything just works like well oiled machine
  It's not bogged down by too much CGI, it's not too quippy and has moments of sincerity, the fantasy aspect is well done... I was just having fun for the entire runtime of the film

  Transformers One 2024

  Oh my goooooooooood
  This is the first Transformers media I've seen since the Unicron trilogy on TV, and this is really, really good
  The origin of Optimus Prime and Megatron is something I've never really thought about but this is an excellent way to bring that story to life

  It has some cringey humor here and there but the film is paced so well and the second half goes so hard that I don't really care
  The animation was spectacular too, holy hell
