Blow Out 1981
An entertaining and tense murder mystery thriller here, one which uses its sound design to the fullest as it tells its story
Jack was a great lead, De Palma's directing is unmatched and the film offers some great social commentary, but a lot of the other characters leave something to be desired and the ending, while poignant, felt a little lacking
This movie is really a great example of "show, don't tell" but it can take it a little too far at times

Everything from the story, performances, pacing, character work, action... everything just works like well oiled machine
