genuinely didn’t expect this movie to be so pretty. the animation, the ninja scene, the transitions just wow. also it can be seen that the director was having a lot of fun from the small details, for example the scene where Genya tries to call a horse and he doesn’t whistle until he turns red and starts looking like a kettle.
