  Bill Skarsgaard is in his Boris Karloff era and I’m absolutely here for it.

  Absolutely killed the role, and Eggers just knocks it out the park again with another sinister period piece.

  Looking forward to the next work of both artists.

  A star and a half goes entirely to the last hour and that is purely because of Dano, the only saving grace of this cringey fucken thing.

  Just make a ‘The Riddler’ with Paul Dano as ‘The Riddler’ with no fucking barman no catbird no uglier tony soprano just ‘The Riddler’ starring Paul Dano as ‘The Riddler’.

  Do I have to it all for you guys?

  Mia Goth has my heart and I’m scared she’s gonna do smth real scary w it so I might ask for it back.

  Cronenberg Jr is really doing some hella unique, out-there stuff with the genre atm and every film seems to outshine the last. 

  Cronenberg Sr is probably so bloody proud of his boy for churning out these outrageous works & I look forward to seeing him blow Infinity Pool out the water with his next one 🤪.

  Halloween 2007

  Rob Zombie putting his usual OTT trailer park filter over any concept imaginable can often be difficult to swallow; Halloween is no different.

  The first 45 minutes play like a Zombie-written SNL skit that parodies the original, rather than trying to take it a new horror direction.

  It’s fun but not enough, however it’s always nice to see Alex DeLarge all grown up and doing the rounds.
