    This surely was a series of scenes that appeared before my eyes.

    The creature design was pretty good, though under used.

    There's a lot of explosions, none of which are visually impressive or narratively satisfying.

    Broadly, I enjoyed Kingdom of Heaven and its exploration of knightly virtue, even if I was not certain on what it really had to say other than a vague endorsement of deontological ethics over and against a more realpolitik or utilitarian approach. It was certainly visually appealing and the foregrounding of its themes through its dialogue was rather compelling for whatever subtlety it lacked.
