  This is a kids  movie. It is pretty great.  Not in a " this kids movie is heaps hilarious  for adults " way. Just it's  a good  kids movie. Watch with  small kids who are excited that you've not seen it, try to get a toddler to sleep on you.

  The King of Comedy 1982

  This Is one of my big kids’ favourite movies, which I’d never seen, so I’m glad they were happy to watch it again to share it with me. It was not a sources when it came out, but its popularity has grown with time, there’sa sort of scarcity and simplicity to the Story that is tremendously appealing. It’s never completely certain what’s real, and what’s the fantasy of the protagonist, but I hope that the ending - black, ironic, ludicrous, but somehow not impossible - is real.

  I made it almost 16 minutes into this film, and it is not so bad it's funny, it's so bad that I had to bite my tongue from calling the bastard who said " its so bad it's funny " worse names than I did, with feeling. It's not funny. It's just bad. Aggressively, repulsively, shamefully, makes skin crawl bad. My 15 year old lad-type left the room to avoid seeing any more of this tropaic mysoginistic racist crap. would give negative stars if could.
