Casino 1995
Movie was alright. The ending felt weak for a Scorsese film, but they can’t all be fives I guess. It just felt to me that it suffers from the same weakness most gangster movies do, the “moral of the story” being “crime doesn’t pay, you’ll be sad and alone in the end, if you’re the one who lives.” The beginning was the strongest part, characters introduced were memorable and they just came out swinging.

The Irishman 2019
Very solid film. Camerawork and the choice to have a lot of narration from Robert De Niro both stood out to me as wonderful, though I have my issues with the film.

Talk to Me 2022
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I will preface this by saying I don’t really watch horror movies, and that the genre isn’t really for me.
Talk To Me is a goofy little film about holding hands with a ghost and letting them come inside of you. The main character goes full schizo, and does some real funny shit (review went up half a star for the foot sucking scene) while getting gaslit by a bunch of ghosts. If you’re a bit squeamish, definitely don’t watch…
