Val Kilmer is hard to look at.
I enjoyed the writing and the majority of the performances in this film. There were certain scenes I thought were executed so incredibly well.
Much like in DeathNote, this cat-and-mouse dynamic had me wondering throughout the story, “okay when are they going to kiss?” only to be left disappointed once again.

This movie would be better if they had a character who killed Oscar Isaac, like, immediately. I would’ve loved to play that role. Also, was it really that much of a surprise that Kyoko was also AI? This obedient, non-speaking, sex-ready “woman”? Was that not odd? “Oh, she’s just Asian, nothing weird going on here.”
And Domhnall Gleeson’s character deserved what happened to him. What an idiot.

This was interesting? I know you’re not supposed to like the main character but wow, she was kind of the worst. I thought the child actor did really well and I usually hate child actors. Is hate a strong word? Good because that’s what I meant. Every time M3GAN broke out into a song, I wanted to peel off my skin. Also, does anyone know what the beef between the two sisters was? I think I missed it.
