  comic book movie that COMMITS. we love to see a director pick a colour palette and COMMIT to it. every street and seedy criminal hideout gotta have the fisher price type chucky factory type primaries. last-gasp-of-the-soundstage-blockbuster babys-first-copaganda kids-playing-toys-in-a-big-plastic-playset dream. i heard less than 10 second of the score during the opening credits and said "oh? danny elfman?" and then danny elfman's name flashed up on screen with perfect comedic timing.
