Dangerous Liaisons 1988
Had the vague impression that I have seen this before - at least in parts, but not sure when. Can’t really call it a rewatch then, but it definitely felt familiar.

Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai 1999
Definitely about the deconstruction of the mafia as much as it is about the poetry of the samurai. A modern masterpiece with some great performances, starting with Forest Whitaker and running throughout the cast. I love Henry Silva's Vargo. I didn't realize this was Vargo's last major speaking role. Anyhow, as I revisit films from 1999, this was one of my faves back then and it still can be on that list.

The bad? Pretty much everything else. Shawn Levy is legitimately one of the worst filmmakers out there. Nothing about this is inspired. It's filmed like the assignment was to take care not to do anything interesting with the action or the camera.
The action itself is not good for the most part...and when we get to the end fight, where Deadpool & Wolverine fight a whole bunch of other Deadpools...it looks like Sora may have animated…
