Forrest Gump 1994
This movie is actually an amazing film. The use of humor is amazing, and is greatly contrasted with the devastating parts of forest’s life. But at the end of the day, this movie is truly uplifting, and shows how you just have to keep moving on, running forward.

I very much enjoyed this film, but the book was so much better. They cut out most of the abuse of Carrie from her mother, as well as the excruciating guilt sue snell feels for what she did. We also don’t really get to see much of Chris and Billy’s toxic relationship. But what hurts the most is that we don’t get to see carries grief before she finally snaps. In my opinion, that was the scariest part; seeing Carrie…
