  Gorgeous looking movie. I’m not the biggest fan of courtroom dramas, so I zoned out a few times during those scenes. There’s a lot of greatness surrounding that, however. Joan Crawford does her thing, and it’s stunning, as always.

  Your mileage may vary with this one. I can see why people don’t like it. This is indeed a horror movie, the horror that is Charlie Kaufman's mind with all of his bad qualities on full display, pretension included. Reminds me of von Trier’s The House that Jack Built, in that it’s a self-critique of the film’s creator. Horrendous vibes. The levels of self-hatred are off the charts
