Last night’s choices were this, Robot Dreams, or Anora. We were already at risk of falling asleep so I think this was the right choice.
The songs were fun, the characters were wildly inconsistent from how they’ve been in the past, and it would have looked so, so much better if it was animated in the classic style.
I laughed very hard a few times. It’s clever, often hilarious, and surprisingly heartfelt. By no means a masterpiece but WOW does it look good.
Idc what anyone says, any children’s movie that ends with the main character flat out refusing to learn their lesson is an automatic A in my book.
