  The handling of Vanya’s erection when Igor and Garnick first show up to break up the party was perfect. Vanya is completely hard when first walking to the door, has a 3/4 chub while fighting to push the door back against Garnick, then is fully flaccid by the time they force their way in. I’ve never seen an interrupted sex scene boner handled with such care and attention to detail before. 👏

  I couldn't fall asleep last night because I was remembering this awful video I edited for my tax accounting class in college. It was me and my group going to Walmart and reviewing their inventory and audit logs, and I used The Social Network score for the soundtrack. I was so embarrassed that I faked sick on the day we showed it to the class. I still lay awake thinking about how bad that video was 10 years later.

  Almost unbelievably epic in narrative scope for a full-on action movie with absolutely nonstop awe inspiring visuals. Each brief interlude from the relentless pace fully delivers either emotionally resonant interpersonal moments or fascinating political scheming.

  This can only be considered a true milestone and resounding success for Denis Villeneuve. What a fucking experience!
