Overall thought this movie was mildly enjoyable. I was particularly proud that a Tucson local is putting out movies of this caliber! I’ll watch and support any future Cord Jefferson film for that reason alone!
The comedic aspects were the standout feature for me. The humor felt smart and I thought the jokes had great delivery. It paired well with the jazzy soundtrack. The irony was a great tool in exploring the frustrations of being boxed in by offensive tropes…Translated from by
