Oh my goodness, some very tense moments in a gondola, not to mention a hair-raising + self-loathing sleigh race!
Pretty good Joan Crawford overall, good film with an interesting premise and a unique way of unwinding the tale. No it is not Mildred Pierce in the Swiss Alps, and there's no cameo by Eve Arden, but really.... how cool would that have been?!
