  To grow old in this body is a privilege, & to have seen this movie more than once is too. 
  Mulan was a film for me as a little girl that stuck out. How could it not with that amazing soundtrack & cast full of cute critters. But to watch it maybe 20 years later, & be entranced by its fable of strength & taking chances. The simplicity that allows the truth to ring through. Strength and discipline can take you to great heights.…

  i’ve never went to the movies on my own but had the inclination to see this one solo, and what followed after was rebirth. I loved the symbolism of the circles: everything has a beginning & an end. The philosophy of nothing matters, how you can lean to one end and find despair, but on the other end find liberation. Both of my sleeves were wet by the end from all the tears. This film was like nothing I’d ever seen before.
