It was a good movie. It was so… human. One thing I struggled to grasp was the ending and what Benji was thinking. A lot of ideas about what that could all mean
One thing though is I’m surprised at the amount of acclaim Culkin got for this. He was fantastic, sure, but not what I expected when I saw him basically sweep everything. Not sure what I expected though tbh
It’s alright. Paul Rudd and Jonathan Majors carried, as was expected, but the cast around them also did pretty well (minus Cassie, bruh). The story was just trying to take on more than it could handle in such a short time. No chance to really build anything, which sucks, since visually this had so much potential. It was also pretty visually jarring at times—don’t know why. Overall, it was enjoyable, but flawed. Did it deserve a 1 mile walk there and back? TBD
