The Last Showgirl 2024
Stylistically this made some choices that I didn't like. It's very blurry which seems to be a directional choice and not one I enjoy. It's also a little underbaked at such a short run time, they could have comfortably added another 10 minutes.
However, Pam, Dave Bautista and Jamie Lee Curtis smash these performances out of the park. Perfect portrait of a flawed character, a kind, yet narcissistic person, battling age, and their fallen dreams. Good film.

Fool Me Once 2024
Someone at work found out that I'm really into movies and TV shows, told me to watch this because it'll blow my mind. Complete and utter shite, and I'm genuinely furious that either a) I fell for a ruse or b) they think that little of me that I would actually enjoy this. Very tempted to resign over this, and I will see Michelle Keegan in Civil Court.

Dune: Part Two 2024
As a child of the nineties, I remember my Dad telling me about seeing Alien, Star Wars, and Lawrence of Arabia in the cinema. I think this film is going to be one of those films I get to smugly tell my children that I got to see it in the IMAX.
