This movie has the distinct honor of being the worst film I’ve seen so far this year. I will update if something is worse than this. They turn Venom from a lovable kinda funny guy to a dud. My boy went out sad.

Final Destination if Death was a monkey. I oddly wish there were more exploding bodies than there were. First half was good but second half was kind of a drag for me. Letting a monkey turn you into a deadbeat dad isn’t cool.

Smile 2 2024
This movies proves that bigger is not always better. Smile 2 is too long, at moments too loud and too predictable. There were enjoyable scenes, more gore, and Naomi Scott is great as our main character descending into madness. Though I kept wondering if this movie was half an attempt to promote her singing career like Trap obviously was for Saleka Shyamalan. This is essentially a gory cringe fest and I’m torn between liking it and hating it.

Terrifier 3 2024
Definitely a step down in plot from the second film. This film is a meandering mess that appears to have the singular task of setting up a fourth film. However, if the gore and kills are what you’re there for, this movie delivers. This is truly a holiday classic that is fun for the entire family to get into the Christmas spirit.
