  So I really didn't know anything about Lizzie Borden other than the little rhyme about her. From that and the reputation I thought she murdered at least a dozen people. So I was surprised when watching this and then reading about her after that she was accused of only the two murders. Seemed sort of pedestrian after the way I had built her up in my head.

  Also, this movie a slow one. Other than the last 10 minutes or so, I was really just bored really.

  A bit better final act than the first movie but I liked the mood in the first more. The entity seemed to be playing with it's food in this.

  I haven't seen for sure but I can only assume a third movie is coming. With how this one ended it'll be very interesting to see where it goes from here.

  In a Violent Nature 2024

  This is pretty much exactly what you'd expect from the trailers. It is astonishingly violent, but in between those moments is a lot of walking slowly through the woods. There is a build-up when Johnny sees his next victim and you just know the death is coming, so the anticipation was good there. But pacing, it was just so slow in between. And there was not much of a plot to speak of, which isn't a surprise.

  This movie does have one of, if not the most gnarliest kill scenes I've ever seen. Fun for the whole family!
